Empty wheel put me onto the “secret enemy” list — which is different (maybe) from Nixon’s paranoid secret enemy list. From a link in Empty wheel’s article:
In a major national security speech this spring, President Obama said again and again that the U.S. is at war with “Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and their associated forces.”
So who exactly are those associated forces? It’s a secret. (link)
The problem is with the words: “and the associated forces.” So what happens if the funds the US gives to country XYZ ends up in the hands Al Qaeda? Some have speculated that this may have happened already.
Certainly Governments and Corporations and “we the people” need to have secrets and top secrets. While on one hand the USG/military has determined that we the people have no need for any privacy — they insist that everything they do must be a secret unless the 0bama regime leaks specific information to their propaganda news outlets. (In order to keep USG secrets the 0bama regime has fashioned the “Insider Threat” response.)
The problem is where does the spying and forced control of “we the people” stop?
80% of Americans face near poverty — yet we are expected to pay (via tax dollars) for ever expanding USG spying. The middle class is an endangered species — the Romney class of ultra wealthy don’t want to pay their fair share of taxes.
As many people are writing in comments — “we the People” are the enemy to the USG — and we are one of the “secret enemies” that the 0bama regime refuses to talk about.
So suckers who voted for 0bama not once but twice — how do you like paying to be spied on? Does it give you a nice war feeling? (war was a typo — but I’m leaving it. It is the truth.)
