Update 12 Sept 2013: Britam hack was a fraud — details at bottom and in reply.
As a woman when I look at photos of mobs in nearly all Middle Eastern Countries I see mostly male faces. From the Egyptian mess we learn that it really isn’t safe for women to be out anywhere near a mob of males because women are sexually molested. In one protest photo from Egypt I did see a close up of women participating — but ONLY because they were encircled by some of the good guys. These regime change plots by the US Neocons never do go well for women. The Egypt Spring thing — wasn’t about women at all — as far as I can tell.
ALL of the Middle Eastern countries have one thing in common — some form of Patriarchal religion which includes hatred of women — misogyny. Israel is supposed to be one example where it is safe to be female — but not there — not really. The Jewish fundamentalist sect of that religion is full of Patriarchal misogyny as is the Christian fundamentalist religions. I’m talking about hard core — blame women for everything that is wrong in the world.
In the current Syrian mess neither side is exactly female friendly — the rebels are hard core misogynists — and apparently the 0bama administration has chosen to side with the rebels. Robert Fisk asks — “Does 0bama know he’s fighting on al-Qa’ida’s side?” I pointed this little fact out in my previous blog entry as well.
In my mind as I’m typing this I see the unknown woman being beaten and kicked and stripped in Egypt in the previous regime change. The woman with the blue bra — we know this because she was stripped of her black shroud that so many women in Egypt wear. Even the anonymous black sack that Islamic women are forced to wear in so many Islamic countries is no protection against males who have been taught no self control.
So here we are again watching as the US media serving as cheer leaders for war again by preaching the USG propaganda line. I’m just wondering why Israel was the one to “discover” the “evidence” of the use of chemical weapons? Especially after we learned about the discussion of a false flag operation described in an email from a hacked corporate computer. The Israel’s just happen to “discover” the same sort of evidence that Britam in a confidential email was asked to “plant” for a ton of money. Seems like some sort of detectives should be looking into the issues raised in this email. Israel has a knife in this fight — they want to bomb Iran and have made no secret of this. Syria and Iran are linked — which is why 0bama has chosen to back the devil (the rebels in Syria liked to al-Qa’ida).
Then there is NYT’s website which was hacked — supposedly by the bad guys in Syria. Perhaps a couple of years ago our response would be — outrage — cyber attack by a foreign government. But now that we know about how NSA’s hackers can hack into just about anything — we can’t help but to disbelieve or at least question the source of the attack. That’s what happens when people realize that the US military lies all the time. As a general rule the first response of the military will be a lie, followed up by another whopper — eventually the truth might surface — but after all the lies and cover ups — it has hard to distinguish the truth from the lies.
Will the US Congress break their summer holiday and return to do their Constitutional duty and debate 0bama’s newest war? Will the UK really involve the UN before marching off to war?
Here’s an article about 0bama’s absolute stupidity in drawing a red line in the sand regarding chemical weapons.
The war in Syria is a political war for power and political gain in Syria. It is war as war used to be, so to speak. Wars that could be settled, often waged by evil or brutal men, but with tangible and identifiable aims. Why should the United States intervene or escalate this Syrian civil war? Syrians started it. No one except Syrians can put an end to it. Anyone who tries risks becoming part of it.
Digby has this to say about the march to war — apparently she has come to her senses and stopped being an 0bot. Digby writes:
I do not get the sense that most of the administration is anxious to move on this although Kerry’s bellicose squalling yesterday had a not of febrile excitement that doesn’t bode well. But I’ve got that feeling of deja vu all over again — the train is rolling out of the station and picking up speed. I don’t know what’s going to stop it.
edits: fixing typos and adding links and quotes at the end of this blog entry.

Final re-Analysis of the britam defense leak files
The hackers were as sloppy. The hackers were too eager to find something to prove their target was guilty. Apparently a whole lot of copy & past was done to the emails.
The hacked files were turned over to a third party independent investigator who determined that:
“Email headers do not match up, which goes with what everyone was saying for a long time now. to be more exact the time stamps are misleading and appear to of been copy and pasted.
So there, its classed as fake, the report and articles will stay published as an archive.”
