Now the talking begins

Wounded Knee was the last ‘battle’ (slaughter) of Native Americans. From time to time more people on reservations die – but then they are just the throw away people. This is a subject for another time but I wanted to post a reminder of America’s dark history of genocide. There are many of us part Indians, even a tiny part, who remember stories and have seen the historical record when it was no crime for whites to kill someone with red skin just because.

The mob mentality of blood lust is still raging in IDF who rage through the occupied territories – the West Bank this time since there is no ceasefire in the West bank.

Feminists from around the world have come together to condemned the violence done to Gaza. “Coalition of feminists condemn ‘massacre’ in Gaza, urge support for BDS.”

We believe in the critical importance, now more than ever, of the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions call for Israel to 1) End its occupation and colonization of all Arab lands and dismantle the Wall; 2) Recognize the fundamental rights of the Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel to full equality; and
3) Respect, protect and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN resolution 194. The purpose of the BDS campaigns is to pressure Israeli state-sponsored institutions to adhere to international law, basic human rights, and democratic principles as a condition for just and equitable social relations.

Israel should be shunned by the International Community. The U.S. Government should also be held responsible for their support of the Genocide committed by Israel in the occupied territories. I protest that my tax dollars was used to murder children in Gaza. All I can do is blog and not vote for pro genocide politicians. Also I can read labels and not buy anything made in Israel. The trail of Tears is happening again. This time in a distant land where hate runs deep.
